Teaching
is an essential ability for anyone striving to be a complete musician. Keenan currently teaches independently in Greensboro, NC. In Winston Salem, he is the Saxophone Instructor at Separk Music, as well as the Community Music School of the UNC School of the Arts. He has also served as a paid clinician in high schools and middle schools in the region.
For the past year, he has served as the director of the Gate City New Horizons Big Band, based in downtown Greensboro.
Teaching areas include jazz and classical saxophone, clarinet, piano, as well as jazz theory and improvisation that can be applied to all instruments. For further information please send an email to the address below.
